Safe Kids in an Uncertain World:
A Workshop for Parents and Teachers
This seminar is designed to give families the skills needed to become Savvy
Parents , who make abuse prevention part of their family's education
and Resourceful Kids , who are well-versed
in safety skills and know when, how, and whom to ask for help.
Topics include:
- Preventing abuse, molestation, or abduction by strangers or acquaintances
- Teaching children HOW to talk to strangers
- Identifying two simple warning signs that a situation is conducive
to abuse
- Making safety skills part of daily life, increasing a child's confidence
while reducing anxiety
